An Evening of Cardmaking!

After having little energy with Covid, I have also had very little for crafting. Tonight I spent some hours working in my craft room and it felt great.

First, I finished some projects leftover from November! These are from Onstage, a Stampin’ Up! three day event. I learned a lot during those presentations, but had not finished my cards until now. These are from the Blessing Of Home Stamp set, Flowers of Home dies, matching Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and embellishments. This is a brand new set from our Jan – June 2022 Mini Catalog and it’s beautiful! I will be creating more cards from this set for upcoming classes, but here is a sneak peek!

Colors used: Fresh Freesia and Cinnamon Cider
Colors used: Garden Green and Misty Moonlight

The next project I worked on were my One Page Wonder Six Cards. This is always fun and it was my turn to create the packets. I used some green, yellow, grapefruit grove, soft blue (?) and vanilla card stock along with ink and misc embellishments. I always really enjoy this creative exercise and am excited to see what my three friends in CA come up with. Here are mine:

The Six
I used Vanilla, Daffodil Delight, and blue against the Grapefruit Grove on this one. I love the subtle colors in the DSP. The sticker is not from SU!
I used Vanilla, Daffodil Delight, and some green glitter paper from SU, again to go with the subtle DSP. I also used the Daisy Punch.
Daffodil Delight and blue against the DSP and Vanilla base. The SU! doily embellishment also added a little subtle touch. The bow and yellow dot are not from SU!
I used Daffodil Delight and DSP against the Vanilla card base again here. The twine and embellishments are both from SU!
This is the other side of the DSP, which is why I wanted to incorporate some blue. I used this against the Vanilla card base and used SU! glitter paper and ribbon. The blue dot is not from SU!
I used a few of the products I had leftover from the kit, but didn’t feel I could do much with this card. The ribbon and doily punch along with paper is from SU! The green heart is not.

Please join me for classes soon now that I am feeling better!
