What a rough few weeks it’s been for me. I decided to schedule classes, do some online tutorials, and work a bit harder. I was excited about creativity!
Then, Covid hit for the second time this year. I made it through that with minor symptoms, but spent a week in bed, for the most part. While this was happening, I began to have trouble with one finger. A chronic infection started on my right hand. After three rounds of antibiotics, my surgeon at Mayo Clinic said I may lose my finger if he did not operate. So, I was in the hospital the next day! I am now recovering and able to use my hand a bit more, although it will be a couple weeks more until the stitches are out. I am on the mend!
I do plan to move forward with scheduling now. I hesitate making videos due to the state of my hands. They look arthritic and I sometimes have a bit trouble manipulating small materials when creating. Others tell me to not let it stop me. It is another way to show anyone can make cards and some will relate. I am going to listen to that advice.
