How fun! My team leaders, Di and Marcy, held a Fall Social last Saturday. It was virtual and here is how it works. You sign up to participate about two months before. Di and Marcy pick three current stamp sets and create several projects for us to do. They ship our box of supplies ahead of time, create a PDF with instructions and pictures of the finished projects, and we all meet for further instruction and social time. I’m certain it’s a lot of work to put these things together, but they do a magnificent job! The three sets we used this time were Counting Sheep (Sale-a-bration), Sweets and Treats and Joyful Life, both from the July through December Mini Catalog. We made adorable cards and treat boxes!

As much as I love elaborate, beautiful cards using various techniques, sometimes a card kit is what’s really needed. They make me feel like a kid playing again! In fact, I can imagine the pride children would have in making these and giving to a loved one like Grandma! That’s right! Stampin’ Up! kits are fun for children and adults!

I have been stamping for awhile now, mostly as a hobby demonstrator, which simply means I buy enough product with my hobby to receive a discount. Now I would like to go a step further and meet others who may wish to learn more about this magnificent, fun hobby! I am going to venture into being a real demonstrator with videos, tutorials, ideas, classes, virtual and in person parties, and meeting new friends!

I have been getting into kits a bit lately. I had and still have several Paper Pumpkin kits (love them!) sitting waiting to be explored. Paper Pumpkin is fun for anyone whether a beginner, casual, or avid stamper. Beginners have everything they need to complete some fun projects and casual or avid love to get into other supplies to elevate their Paper Pumpkin projects. This is true of kits that are also available for ordering.

Along with catching up on Paper Pumpkin kits, I also worked on some kits from the catalog. The last one was actually a gem I found on Clearance, of all things. It caught my eye and loved it enough to order a second kit. I love sending Christmas cards. I mean it’s a dying art that really needs to come back! Look at these beauties!
